POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (PGDM-BM)
Two years Full Time Residential Course
 
Globalization of business, liberalization of economies and integration of markets the world over have opened up horizons of prosperity and growth. Keeping pace with time and staying ahead of competition has been the most demanding challenge of all the managerial skills required today. We at IIBR are alive to the emerging challenges. The institute’s curriculum for its Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management is carefully designed and contemporary curriculum, delivered by faculty from the best of academics and industry and a work culture. A variety of learning tools are used for the acquisition of knowledge and skills. Role-play, case study, project-work, field experience, assignment, quiz, seminars, industry visits are some of the methods used. The curriculum is reviewed and improved constantly keeping in view the perceived needs of business in future.
   
Aim
The two-year Post-graduate Diploma in Business Management aims at preparing a professional breed of executives with in-depth knowledge, industry exposure and strategic management orientation. A PGDM student will at the end of the course be ready to take up responsibilities in any business (domestic and/or global) to ensure growth and success in the business he or she is assigned to.
Objective
The basic objectives of PGDM (BM) course are to nurture:

Our students can look forward to a wide variety of career opportunities in various functional areas of marketing and finance. Given the extensive grooming, students may join an organisation as trainees and can chart up the corporate ladder to head a department. The sectors where students can enter the industry would be varied like Manufacturing, FMCG, Logistics, Telecom, Finance etc. The course is also an excellent launch pad for any higher academic pursuits that students may take up.
