POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (PGDM-IB)

The PGDM in International Business at Institute of International Business and Research (IIBR) is a foundational course for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country’s growing requirements for training personnel in the field of international management. It teaches the basic concepts and skills required to identify international opportunities and threats, explain their impact, formulate real world strategies and implement the plan to achieve the objective. Aim
Taking into account the fact that the Indian economy has opened up for an increase in global trade and the presence of MNCs, the main academic focus is on equipping the students with an in-depth knowledge of global business and to instill in them an urge to take up competitive global challenges. The course curriculum is so designed that the participant students are groomed to take on the challenges of the new millennium, which are truly international in nature and not restricted by geographical or political boundaries.
Objective
The basic objectives of the PGDM (IB) course are:
