AIM:
Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management aims in preparing a thorough breed of executives with in-depth knowledge and Industry Exposure and Strategic Management Orientation. The candidates will be ready to take up responsibilities in any business (domestic and/or global) to ensure growth and success in the business they are assigned to.

OBJECTIVE:
The basic objective of PGDBM course is
a. To provide the country a steady stream of competent young men & women with necessary knowledge, skills, values & attitudes to occupy positions of Management and Administration in Business, Industry, Public systems & the Government.
b. To impart to students latest & relevant knowledge in the field of management theory & practices.
c. To provide opportunities to the Participants within & outside institutions, for developing necessary Managerial skills
d. To Impart/Develop the right kind of values and attributes to function effectively in Managerial administrative Position

ELIGIBILITY:
Bachelor degree in any faculty of any statutory University

SPECIALIZATION:
In second year a student shall be examined for a special subject consisting of two unit courses belonging to any one of the following functional area of Management.
Group A - Marketing Management
Group B - Finance

INTERNSHIP:
It is compulsory for every student to undergo two months in Industrial training. The dissertation & Viva base on the training shall be of 100 marks.

PLACEMENT:
Career placement forms as integral part of the IIBR curriculum. The IIBR placement cell is dedicated to the career development need of our students and the recruitment needs of international companies. IIBR supports students throughout their Program helping them to enhance their job search skill and creating opportunities to meet recruiters. The Placement Centre facilitates on campus company presentations, an annual career fair & selection interviews.

IIBR also closely work with alumni who are important for promoting & strengthening the IIBR reputation with in their organizations. Students can also use the alumni network when seeking summer internship & employment opportunities.
