Co – curricular Activities beyond Classroom

Along with 820 hours of class room teaching and academic activities, students are offered a host of co-curricular activities, wherein they learn to share responsibilities and co-ordinate activities.

Factory visits, an integral part of the program, helps in giving a practical insight and offer much desired industry interaction. This also accelerates their summer and final placements.

Port visits, either to Goa Port or Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Nhava Sheva, Mumbai Port and CSI airport are organized every year, synchronizing with the course structure .This gives the students the working knowledge and exposure to real life problems and prepares them for professional course.

 

Computer Society of India:

Being the student chapter Pimpri-Chichwad, Pune of Computer Society of India, allows for increased interaction with the industrial & technological doyens

Economic Times Club:
For our students to emerge as better professionals with an enhanced personality, they are encouraged to join various activities one such activity is the ET Club i.e the Economic Times club.

Poona Management Association Club:
The Pirmpri-Chinchwad branch of Pune Management Association at IIBR helps our students to cultivate scientific attitude towards management.

PuneExpo:
It is one of the largest exhibitions held every year in Pune by MCCIA having over 3 lakh visitors and covering all sectors of industry. IIBR students shoulder the responsibility as facilitators of the expo which provides our students with tremendous opportunity to interact with the various officials of industries, foreign dignitaries, this apart from improving various skills in coordination, crowd management, communication skills which goes a long way in developing the managerial skills required for these future professionals.

IIBR’s role as Facilitators:
“Facilitators from Institute of International Business and Research, in which MCCIA is a partner did an excellent job for liaison with exhibitors for onsite management, registering and escorting business visitors, managing the crowd, VIP co-ordination, co-ordination for International Pavilion and other tasks assigned by the Chamber.” As quoted by the MCCIA officials.

The modern competent corporate world not only demands thorough technical knowledge, but good individual qualities as well. IIBR provides excellent platform to students to develop and uncut-such dynamism in its students, developing their overall personalities, by arranging wide array of cultural events, and extra curricular activities.
